For the past few weeks I have been testing and building a test arena for our game. The arena will hold all the possible game interactions needed to play the game. As this is a new platform for me , it is literally learning while doing. So far things are running smoothly. I thought I would share with you a simple yet useful illustration detailing the scale conversion from a 3d package like 3ds max or Maya to UDK.
An interesting insight into designing game environments.

So we finally got around to creating our 3d asset list here are the following 3d assets:
lights [types x3]
Over the coming Easter me and my team mates have to create 10 assets each with detail textures laid on the designs.
So with the Easter holidays fast approaching it was time to start diving nto this group project. As before we were still finalizing latest designs to our level, but now that this is all sorted I began creating a basis for our level. So here is some of my development throughout a week i made in 3ds max level design. As mentioned in my design multimedia project class jj would like these textured over Easter for when i get back. So hopefully i can complete my 10 model textures and get the first area layout tidies up and textured.
